First impressions of Buenos Aires

Cold and overcast like England but at least here it should be getting warmer. Soon warms up once the sun comes out.

Traffic is crazy, everyone honking their horn as they have waited more than 3 mins at the toll booths on the highway, the officials have to open the barriers are let cars through to keep the traffic moving.
Need to dodge the dog poo and cracks in the pavement and be quick negotiating the wide pedestrian crossings, safer in a crowd.

Everyone very friendly and greets you with one kiss on the right cheek, male and female.

Waking up to women's hour instead of the today program is a bit of a novelty.

Underground good once you have managed to buy a SUBE card, people trying to sell you stuff on the train, they dump something on your lap, then come back for the money but it is quite acceptable to give the item back.

Not many people here speak English, should have spent more time learning Spanish.

Cambio, Cambio, Cambio
