I headed downtown to San Telmo late Sunday afternoon, about
an hour away by Subte (underground) and weaved my way through all the market
stalls along Calle Defensa. Finally I reached Plaza Dorrego, one of the city’s
oldest squares and the traditional place to enjoy watching Tango dancing in the
street.

Once back in Belgrano, I walked past the Pabellón de
Barrancas de Belgrano, where I had often see a few couples dancing and to my
delight it was packed with couples dancing Tango.

My efforts to learn Tango were not very successful but I enjoyed milonga.
Folklore (Argentine Folk Dance) was an entertaining group dance.
Salsa and Rock were fun and good for keeping fit.
